History of Lodge

The Begining of organised Freemasonry as we know it in the present day started in june 1717. The origin of Freemasonary, however, is hidden and lost in the mists of time. In fact Freemasonary is itself profoundly uncertain of its origins. In the four centuries of its formal existence,it  has endeavoured to trace its origin through historical research.

The general assumption about freemasonary is that it began at the time time when King Solomon's Temple was built at Jeerusalem. This is an accepted legand and freemasons consider king soloman as the First Grand Master. Present day Freemasonary bases its belief about Soloman's Temple on information in very early documents such as Cooks Manuscript, circa 1410, which contains earliest detaied description of the libnk between King Solomon's Temple and operative Freemasonary. Pehaps, it can be said that of all the mysteries of Freemasonry, there is perhaps no mystry more mysterious than the origin of Freemasonry!
